MV COMBI DOCK I
3 x Liebherr LHM 420 Cranes from Indonesia were safely transported to Nhava Sheva and Paradip on MV COMBI DOCK I - the Heavy load carrier" for "J.M. BAXI - THE PORT SPECIALISTS". The vessel carrying a belly full of cranes berthed at Nhava Sheva Port on the 77th Independence Day of India.
In order to accomplish this challenging project, Sai Maritime together with Jumbo-SAL-Alliance and their valuable engineering solutions ensured a smooth loading and discharging operation.
MV COMBI DOCK I loaded the 3 cranes each weighing 300 Mtons along with its accessories i.e. 4 spreaders and 15 counter weights – from Surabaya, Indonesia and sailed directly to Nhava Sheva, India and thereafter to PICT Paradip.
The Combi Dock I is a true multi-talent, equipped with two 350t SWL cranes, combined up to 700t SWL and one more 200t SWL crane, making her capable of lifting very heavy cargoes.
The box-shaped cargo hold has a total capacity of 21,934 cbm or a total of 800m of Ro-Ro deck lanes and a stern ramp with a 700-ton SWL capacity. Furthermore, the vessel can transport floating cargo thanks to its semi-submersible capabilities, enabling her to load any of your next cargoes.
The entire expedition was closely co-ordinated by the Sai Maritime Agency team to ensure a seamless discharging operation.
Sai Maritime is raring to embark on similar operational challenges in the near future.
" The shipment moved smoothly and would love to do more of such shipments with your esteemed Team and Principals."
