"On 30th Sept 2011, the 2nd Annual All India Maritime and Logistics Awards (MALA) 2011 was held at Hotel Taj Vivanta, Mumbai."

The audience comprised of the who's-who of the Indian Shipping and Forwarding Industry. Lars Rolner (CEO, SAL Heavy Lift ) was invited to be the Chief Guest of Honor to speak in front of this prestigious audience.

The teams of SAL and Sai Maritime were in full attendance. SAL / SAI was nominated in the category Shipping Line of the Year - SAL Heavy Lift Operator and were delighted when they were announced as winners. Ms Rukhsana Vohra, MD of Sai Maritime, also received the award for Woman Enterpreneur/Professional of the Year.
